polarbear Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 I've been using the blank paper labels you can buy through Heartfelt Industries for the last couple of years and they're not the best I like to date some cigars as they come in without the box and i've got a bunch of house and custom rolls that i'd be unable to ID without a band of some kind The glue that holds them together doesnt last and they come apart and everything gets mixed up. What do the members around here use and where can i get some?
zmancbr Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 I still use heartfelt too. Not the best. But to solve the issues I just tear off the little tiny bit of end that doesnt have glue for larger RG cigars. For smaller ones the bands overlap too much so I add a tiny piece or scotch tape...not ideal but its still what I use.
Duxnutz Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Mate, I use lil pull tab things from office works. There approx 1-2cm and fit around the cigar and haven't had any come off yet. I fit them loosely and slide right off. Paper ones. I'd stay clear of any strongly perfumed ones.
CigarGasm Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 I use single cigar ziplcoc baggies. These serve two purposes. One, I can write any pertinent information on them in sharpie and two, they protect the cigars since I like to rearrange a lot. For smaller cigars, I trim the excess off.
orangedog Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 coincidentally ramstad just sent around that he is doing another run of his bands, which I really like: http://www.bobramstad.com/BBB/
b4z00k4 Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 coincidentally ramstad just sent around that he is doing another run of his bands, which I really like: http://www.bobramstad.com/BBB/ I've been waiting for another one of these. I've been looking for some good blank bands to label my singles and these are apparently the best. Thanks for posting this.
JoeyGunz Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Guess I need to bite the bullet and bag some, been cutting my own and using a small bit of scotch tape to secure them.
ArtemusGordon Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Got my order in for ramstad. They look great
Dozerhead Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Got my order in for ramstad. They look great Yeah, I got an order from him years ago. They are great bands. Polarbear, I don't have much use for mine anymore. You are welcome to what I have left, no charge (there are at least 150 left, I think).
Optic101 Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 May I ask which glue you'r suggesting? Thanks.
finecigar Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 I ordered 500 last night. Have been wanting some blanks for awhile. Love his design!
Tan1801 Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 PB, I use dymo with paper labels. I just manually pull it longer if the RG calls for it.
Fuzz Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 You could just use the super sticky version of Post-It notes. Cut them into strips and you have a self-adhesive band.
CigarAsh Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 I ordered from this company and have liked them. Have a small amount of adhesive on one end of the label so nothing touches the cigar wrapper. http://www.onlinelabels.com/cigars/cigar-labels.htm 1

polarbear Posted February 20, 2014 Author Posted February 20, 2014 They look good. Just oversea shipping is quite high. How High? I didnt think he'd ship outside of the US so I didnt worry about looking into them further?
Optic101 Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 To Singapore it is USD 25 for up to 50 sheets according to their website.
