Having difficulties finding a good sharp cutter that lasts. Maybe some pics of what others use as their favorites. Right now my Savoy cutter and Xikar punch are my favorites. I just bought the Savoy and while it's ok and I have not had a difficult cut yet, I'm not all that impressed. The Cohiba red dot cutter was pretty dull out of the box it came free with. The other Cohiba cutter was nice initially but seems to have dulled a little. The punch is also newer but seems punches always get damaged in my pocket. The Thompson Cigar labeled one is mediocre IMHO. Maybe a good lighter combo with nice sharp cutter?

I've used several high end and pricey cutters over the years, and I've concluded that the best cutter I have ever owned is: The Perfect Cutter by Cuban Crafters. (It's also the cheapest I have ever

Palio

Table top quad cutter! Just attach a chain for your neck and it's good for travel too!

Palio or Xikar. I've had both and they have each been great. They also have a lifetime warranty. If one gets jacked up you can just take it to an authorised dealer and they will take care of it for you. Unfortunately the warranty doesn't do you much good if you lose the actual cutter, like I did with the Palio. mad.gif

The Cuban crafter's perfect cutter is a very nice cutter for $15. Mine has cut a bunch of cigars and is still sharp. Cheap enough it isn't a big deal if you loose it. I also have a Xikar I use at home.

My Xikar sucks. Traded it from a member here a few years back. Might just need a sharpening.

Shlomo

Xikars are guaranteed for life send it nack and they replace no questions asked. And they fix the old one and send to the troops!

Gotta go the Xikar

I have 3 or 4 of them and have never had an issue

Each has performed 100's of cuts over the years and are still in great condition

I know. I also have a lighter that is no good. Didn't know they send the stuff over to the troops. Wonder how that all works from Canada....

Palio has always been an excellent cutter.

Still, I have a couple of hundred cheap cutters lying around as i lose anything decent during travel.

Trialing currently the Lotus cutter (Xikar knockoff).

I just got a Lamborghini cutter (90$ usd on amazon) I have to admit, it's really pretty to look at but it's really sharp and it makes a clean cut every time.

I've had my freebee colibri cutter from cigarsinternational that ive had for two years and it still makes a clean cut every time.

Currently use the Xikar cutter does the job. Sent one back a few years ago to get sharpened and they sent me a new one smile.png

Can't complain about that, especially from the aussie suppler great service!

Would love one of those large Boston Cigar Cutters although they are $$$$$$$ if you can still get one?

Got a Palio cutter a few weeks ago, I absolutely love it, razor sharp, perfect cut.

I also have a Cuban Crafters perfect cutter which I have used for 3 years now, also a great option, keep that one in my golf bag, still extra sharp, great cut.

+1 on the palio. Lovely clean cut every time and doubles as a cigar rest as well.

I've got 4 cutters that I've bought, and they all have their problems. Xikar, Prometheus etc...

The best cutter I have is one that was given to me by Rob Fox in Havana. Its one of his JJ FOX branded cutters, looks unassuming, and has been brilliant. No torn wrappers, and works first time every time! Thanks Roberto!

That is epic. Didn't know they made cigar cutters. Going to order one for my birthday, along with my champagne sabre.
