ethernomad Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 A simple Bic lighter for calm moments, and a Ronson in a breeze.
amart Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Hey do you have the link to some., having trouble finding it for that price. I do not. Most were $100+ but every once in awhile I'd see one go for $60-80
spicycorona Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Black maxijet. It's just starting to kick the bucket after 3.5 years, two trips through the laundry and multiple drops. But despite all that, it goes the same way the xikars and colibris and that is the flame control valve. Just takes three times longer.
soutso Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 IM Corona Double Corona. A nice little unit with a very simple flint change. Don't have to deal with springs or having to unscrew anything. Well priced too.
Briand Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 i use a Regal 4 flame torche which cost about 50 bucks canadian and it has a punch on the button. Never had a issue and used 100s of times. I love the look of some of the high end lighters but i just can't justify spending 500 on a lighter when that will buy me a box of cigars
BradNC Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 I got this in about a week or so ago. S.T. Dupont Ligne 2 Liberte Torch lighter. Really liking it. This model doesn't really "ping" when opening but it does make a unique metal sound. 3
Onelove Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Second hand ligne 2 just arrived yesterday so I checked for leaks and filled it this morning, I'll try to get an action shot tonight. Sold this old dupont recently and I'm kicking myself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 3
StingMeadery Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Just scored this DuPont Defi Extreme as my G2 Pulsar blew a seal in the sun while fishing. It's really nice, a little clunky but a sure performer ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
Fosgate Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 I'm almost thinking about just going back to the old reliable $.79 bic lighter. I cant tell you how many times I have experienced that scene out of "The Great Outdoors" Where Dan Akroid's character pulls out an expensive lighter that he lets John Candy know the price but it fails to light. John Candy pulls out a Bic lighter and lights it saying $.49 and the store he bought it from. Jet lighters never seem to hold enough fuel for a reasonable amount of time without being the size of a small fire extinguisher or blow torch. 1
airtrade Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 I like this torch no too big. Right now ost 2.69 on dealXtreme. Uses any butane without a hitch. For soft flame I like clipper. They can be refilled too.
CaptainQuintero Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 I love soft flames, I live on the top of a hill however. Wind, my nemesis!
HarveyBoulevard Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 http://www.blazerproducts.com/lighters/images/cg001colors.gif Best...lighter...ever!
SofaKing Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 I love soft flames, I live on the top of a hill however. Wind, my nemesis! I see you borrowed my line for your signature!
SofaKing Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 I picked up this gem while in Paris, has a LED flashlight on the bottom and when you open it a catchy little light show!
Lotusguy Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Those pics are XXXXXXXXXXXL, bro - I can't see anything.
SofaKing Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Those pics are XXXXXXXXXXXL, bro - I can't see anything. Sorry man, dunno...TAPATALK pics never load right for me
CaptainQuintero Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 I see you borrowed my line for your signature! It genuinely made me laugh out loud! I need to get it embroidered on some underpants! 2
JerseyG Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 I use a cheapie Ronson/Zippo Jetlight from Walmart. Rather spend the money on cigars or booze. Most often I use wooden matches
jsummers157 Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 I really love my S.T. Dupont Xtend. In the roughly 10 years since I started smoking cigars, none has come close to being as reliable as this for me.
Onelove Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 My recently acquired ligne 2 with the cigar burner is head and shoulders above anything I've ever used. Have been using a couple of torch lighters mostly the last few months or when indoors my 1950's ligne 1. Very glad these are made to last as right now can't see using anything else ever.
StingMeadery Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 New lighter and cutter combo ..."awesome" ! DuPont Defi Extreme Xikar Xi3 Carbon Fibre Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
