Smallclub Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Could it possibly mean LGC MDO 3 old stock? Theres still a lot of shops getting new stock of 2002 boxes? He's talking about the Trinidad Robusto Extra, not the LGC… (which was deleted in 2010).
Blakes Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 He's talking about the Trinidad Robusto Extra, not the LGC… (which was deleted in 2010). Yeah I know, it made me think because he wrote the Trini was getting discontinued when really he meant he would just stop receiving stock made me wonder if with the LGC there is just going to be some old stock available to him later this year rather than new production... if you see what I mean?
cigarsdelcuba Posted February 7, 2014 Author Posted February 7, 2014 thats some old stock thats been kept away if they are getting 2002 production. habanos is short stocked due to the tax increase in europe alot of people are stocking up. we are seeing production codes as early as aug 2013 coming into our warehouses from habanos

mk05 Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 I feel like this "change is coming...price hike, must hoard, what about you" discussion happens annually from Jan-March, right after - the also annual - HSA's PIPIP, aka the price increase purchase incentive plan is announced. Yawwwn. lol 2
cigarsdelcuba Posted February 7, 2014 Author Posted February 7, 2014 habanos does their annual price increase in april i just think these vendors stocked up on certain boxes and stored them away...there is no way there is 2002 production in huge qty available anywhere in the market
Maplepie Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 I would prefer to see the 1s come back. But I agree with most I won't truly believe it until stock actually starts to show up! exactly my first two thoughts actually..... but to the first point: number 3 would still be a miracle considering the fat bottom girls that makes rocking habanos world go 'round
MrGinger Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 ...there is no way there is 2002 production in huge qty available anywhere in the market In May of 2013, there were still 02 LGC stock on the shelves in Havana shops.
Orion21 Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 I believe it. We are a rare breed here. Most tourists probably go for Cohiba and Montecristo.
melies Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 In May of 2013, there were still 02 LGC stock on the shelves in Havana shops. Which shops? I was In Havana in May, and couldn't find any (and I searched all over the place)
BonVivant Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 In May of 2013, there were still 02 LGC stock on the shelves in Havana shops. Did those shops have any 2013 Ramon Allones Coronas or 898s? Any 2013 ERDM Grandes de Espana, Elegantes or fresh Panetelas Largas?
CooGAR Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Oooo....forgot about RA 898s! Man I miss those!
