As many have noted.... just do small runs periodically to maintain customer interest in some of these historic vitolas...... Next up ..... MontrealRon Posted February 7, 2014 Share Posted February 7, 2014 Some years back, I forget exactly when, HSA reduced the price of the #3s by around 20-25% (to CUC 73.50/box of 25, in Cuba), to try and clear the remaining stocks of '02 production still cluttering the shelves. It took until very recently, even at that give-away price, to move the remaining boxes. Do you really think they are ready for another production run that will take 10+ years to move, and at a price that does not even justify the varnished 8-9-8 boxes? I for one appreciate rumors popping up. It keeps us talking about this wonderful hobby of ours. As for the rumors, time will tell if they are correct. I'm tired of 54 RG cigars that are 12" long...Not to mention paying for larger RG cigars is quite expensive.
