LGC Medaille No.3 Return - Habanos

Recommended Posts

Hopefully true.

Nothing should have been 'discontinued' really....

As many have noted.... just do small runs periodically to maintain customer interest in some of these historic vitolas......

Couldn't agree more.

Next up .....

SDC 1, GdE, Punch ninfas....

etc etc etc

If only!!!!!

WOW...lets hope this one turns out to be true. The #3 is my fav of the LGC line and I went super deep on them when they got cut. But I still smoke several of them per month and will some day run out. Would be nice to get some new stock to age!

Some years back, I forget exactly when, HSA reduced the price of the #3s by around 20-25%

(to CUC 73.50/box of 25, in Cuba), to try and clear the remaining stocks of '02 production still cluttering the shelves.

It took until very recently, even at that give-away price, to move the remaining boxes.

Do you really think they are ready for another production run that will take 10+ years to move,

and at a price that does not even justify the varnished 8-9-8 boxes?

The loss of this vitola is not the fault of HSA, my brothers and sisters,

but ours, and ours alone.

Really? Do you realize the RE was discontinued in 2012?

We have a champion lol3.gif

No reason to give the guy such a hard time. I for one appreciate rumors popping up. It keeps us talking about this wonderful hobby of ours. As for the rumors, time will tell if they are correct. If the LGC 3 does pop back up with 2013 or later box codes, he will earn some credibility and future news he shares will be given some weight. peace.gif

Lets hope this is TRUE!! I'm tired of 54 RG cigars that are 12" long...Not to mention paying for larger RG cigars is quite expensive. I want my 28-48 RG cigars back.
