Big Scarface fan and had been eyeballing this since it came out at $1000 and watched the price shrink. I already have a Limited Edition Blu Ray so I could care less if I got it with the humidor set or not. I have been searching off and on the last few weeks and checked today. One popped up on Amazon and grabbed the last one direct from Amazon! Maybe gaudy and over the top to some but I could not pass it up. I'm suspicious if the BLue Ray is with it if it's new or used but I could care less so long as the humidor is like new. Should be here tomorrow.

You probably got the one I sent back - the medallion was to much for me and even for the money (amazon under $300) it was to small. I wish they made it more subtle. The one I sent back was 458/1000. I hope you like it more than I did.

I already have a 500 and 150 ct humidor. Just wanted a smaller better one to hold a box or two worth of more valuable smokes in the man cave.

Wow! Just noticed the front corner after wiping it down. Looks like a dimple in the finish and a crack. I'd like to think they got rid of it for this reason but the box was all sealed up with the factory seals on the paper. I expected more from DM.

No way the retailer new it. The box was sealed from the factory.

I'm fine with it the way it is for the price. Just a little suprised. DM pulls the inside plaques out of them before they sell them as blems. Or so I have seen anyway. They even state the "private stock" do not carry the DM name. http://www.danielmar...l.com/sale.html

I got a DM at discount for an imperfection that is nearly impossible to find. I love it and the customer service at DM is top notch. Yeah, it's gaudy. But I know it'll keep your sticks perfectly. Good deal.

Actually cant unless I only want to return it. It was sold by another company and fulfilled by Amazon and it was the last one. I would have no problem returning it but there will be no replacement at that price.

I checked with Daniell Marshall last week and they sent me a list with the closest size humidor being $200 more. Should be here tomorrow.

I picked up two DM "private stock" which is just a nice way of saying, "stuff the new guys built" and both are gorgeous from afar but upon inspection I've found plenty of reasons why I would knock the prices down so much.... But it's all about the performance and that's what makes the private stock such a great deal...

I'm sure that scarface box will give you plenty of years of performance and more than a few, "what the heck is that?!?" responses from future BOTL who are looking to get their hands on your stash.... If only DM had come up with mounting a mound of "coke" on top, imagine how many humidors they would have sold then....

Sorry, thought that purchase was amazon straight up - email DM see what they will do for you on that corner marring - there stuff is full warranty and it sounds like it was still sold as "new". They are very nice over there. If you do end up contacting them - I would be curious as to how they handled it.
