HabanoHam Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Us simpletons down here in the lower half don't find fake rappers or "hip -hop" Top 40 posers to be neither: talented musically inclined skilled celebrities famous worth knowing positive productive influential succesful ect, ect, ect! If I was in a room with Obama and Jay-z and both wanted to shake my hand, I would have a hard time picking which one I would spit on first. My opinion of course. What exactly makes him a "fake" rapper? Are you saying the topics he raps about are fabricated and not things he actually experienced /lived through?

Even if you aren't a fan of his music you must admit he's doing something right...He's talented.

As for his music and ability, you can dislike him all you want, but in his genre, he has earned the respect and credibility to be considered one of the all time greats. Don't have to like him or what he raps about, but, he's certainly talented in a lot of arenas. That said, he has a love for cigars, and while I wouldn't buy one of these for myself if you spotted me a twenty, I don't have a problem for a guy who is good for supporting the industry in making a dollar.
