Armaniac Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Hi all, I've been smoking for less than a year and need help with the dates and authenticity of the following products. I bought one of each to try and have the boxes reserved for me. I don"t know if these pictures are sufficient. RyJ Celestiales?? JL2s with no band?? Your help would really be appreciated before I put more money down for the rest of the boxes!
Trent0341 Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Celestiales Finos - They were discontinued in 2002 Not really sure about the box codes. The Juan Lopez may be May of 1998? Although not sure what the other letters are exactly. Maybe check Trevors website. http://www.cubanciga...e.com/index.htm
polarbear Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Those ryj's look like celistalis finos They were discontinued in 02, I think They're both old boxes by the looks as they are before cuba started putting readable date codes on the boxes Check out cubancigarwebsite.com for more info

dangolf18 Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Well the JL is 05/98 (factory is Holguin). Can't decipher the box date on the RyJ CF (except VC is Villa Clara).

Habana Mike Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Hi all, I've been smoking for less than a year and need help with the dates and authenticity of the following products. I bought one of each to try and have the boxes reserved for me. I don"t know if these pictures are sufficient. RyJ Celestiales?? Yep, 1995 I believe. I'll take them if you don't want them. JL2s with no band?? Cabs had no bands until around 2005 ('04-'06 range). These are from '98 and I'd take them too! Your help would really be appreciated before I put more money down for the rest of the boxes!
bresdogsr Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 I think they are too old. Send them to me for proper disposal. Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk

Smallclub Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Cabs had no bands until around 2005 ('04-'06 range). Yes, and the JL2 was even the last habanos to get its bands. In 2006 you could still find unbanded cabs…
