lopezoscar03 Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 hey whats up everyone. Happy New Years Eve everyone. i am looking at three boxes for possible purchase but need to narrow it down to one. i have smoked all three and thoroughly enjoyed them. i wanted to hear what thoughts you guys had on these. maybe you can help narrow it down Boli Belisco Boli Short PL robusto RE thanks again everyone and Happy New Years Oscar
Cohiba Stevie Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 The belicoso is an amazing smoke. Classic boli profile in a nice vitola. Draws slightly in the easier side but makes for a good change pace. But delivers flavour in buckets.
dangolf18 Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 If you like Bolis, then go for Bolivar Petit Corona. Since you mentioned the PL Robusto, why not try the PL Encantos. They are excellent.

I smoked one on my honeymoon and it was delicious Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
zmancbr Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 In this order: PL robusto RE-Great stick that is starting to come around, but I am a PL lover. Boli Short- These sucked at first, but now are finally developing into something nice. Boli Beli- Great stick in the Boli line but I just don't like Belis as much as other vitolas..like the corona, PC, or Robusto.
el.barbudo Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 The PL R LE has been, and continues to be great. The Belicoso is pretty true to the Boli line. I haven't had a Boli Short since they first came out. Then it wasn't anything special, and the size... well, it was too short. And yes, that is what she said as well.... If you haven't had a PL you might want to get them since they won't be around forever, while the Beli is part of the regular production.
Bclass1 Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 I've only had the Boli Beli and the Short.. Big fan of the Belicoso. Bolivar makes one of the best Belicosos around IMO.
lopezoscar03 Posted December 31, 2013 Author Posted December 31, 2013 Would you say the PL robusto is similar to the encantos? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
sw15825 Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Would you say the PL robusto is similar to the encantos? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk I know I'm off topic somewhat, but I have only smoked the BBF and PL Belicosos RE. I would buy the PL Beli if I could only buy one. Flavor FULL! I know its more cost, but very nice.

Croz71 Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 I love the PL robusto, got 2 1/2 boxes of these. But I just love the entire PL line. Also have a box of Encantos, plpc, montecarlos and plp. All have a similar light to medium sweet profile for me. Perfect for the hot Australian summer.
cmitch Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Bolivar Beli is fantastic. Keep them in my rotation.
ajgagnon Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 I would vote PL. I have the Boli PC, Belicoso and RC in my humidor as well, but I seem to reach for anything PL first. They're all good, but the PL has a really rich 'twang' and toasted caramel rather than the dark + citrus character I seem to get from Bolivars.
