Hemsworth Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 I have a box of Siglo lll's and the three or four that I have tried over the course of two years have been dull. I don't plan on trying another for a couple of years and certainly won't be spending the premium to buy more.
Hash Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Siglo VI. Behike 54. Esplendidos when they are on.
bassman Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Cohiba CE. More consistent than the Lancero, & Espie, stronger than the Siglos. Don't care for fat cigars so don't smoke anything 50 or over.
Hubba Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Nothing beats a Lancero when on. I've had some fantastic CORO in my day as well. Honorable mention goes to the 1966.
Cigar Surgeon Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 I haven't smoked enough Cubans or Cohibas but I would have to say the 1966. The flavor profile edges out the Behikes for me.
Puros Y Vino Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 For me, the Lancero and Esplendido hold the top spots. BHK54's have yet to disappoint me. Siglo VI's have been 50/50 for me. Either brilliant or just very good.
alloy Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 So hard to choose. I've had the IV, the VI, Genios (have a box from 2007 just waiting in the wineador), Secretos, Behike 52, 54 (have a box of these BTO ABR 13 waiting in my wineador also), 56, 1966, CCE, CoRo and Esplendidos. The CoRo, when on, is a fantastic one hour smoke. But when I sit down for a football game, I choose the 1966. A solid two hour smoke. The Genios have become a favorite also. I blew through a box of the IV's and a box of the VI's in three months two years ago. It's really hard to choose. They are all so good. The Behike 54 is my favorite (just slightly though).
fokker4me Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 The 1966 by far has to be my favorite. I know it's a one shot deal but it is my favorite.
finecigar Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Though they are always up and down in quality, I love the Lanceros. Also, Siglo VI and IV with a steady 5-10 yrs aged can be sublime!
Jeremy Festa Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 The Robusto. I have a soft spot for the Siglo IV & V also.
LLC Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 That's like picking your favorite child, tough to do.
thecapo Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Behike 54-56 Sublime - the best Aging paramides
Bclass1 Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 CoRo is my go to cigar when on.. I have a great quality box that's aged 4 years to this point and can honestly say I've thoroughly enjoyed them all.. Very expensive and do need some age IMO. Siglo IV and BHK54 also on point right now.. Both boxes from 2010.
