rock Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 What is the one brand of Cuban cigars that you just can't buy because of the flavor profile or the strength of the brand or for what ever reason. Please if possible major brands, not Guantanamera or Quintero. Mine is El Rey del Mundo. I just don't like the flavor profile and find it a very weak cigar. If I smoke something I really want to know that it something with heft.
Ophidion Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Partagas. The only one I like is the corona senior and even that one isn't one of my go to sticks.
Colt45 Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Can't stand would be far too harsh, but SLR has been a marque which hasn't really done it for me.
sw15825 Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 I have to go with Hoyo de monterrey. I just cannot get them.I mean core line, not le hoyo line , that I like w age.
zmancbr Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Juan Lopez...there is always way too much ligero in them for me to enjoy and the flavors are only OK.

sw15825 Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Every brand will be mentioned eventually in this thread. Along with core Hoyo, I don't like Cuaba either. Lol !
Hiroshiro Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 You should make it into a poll so we can see everyone's taste
sw15825 Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 You should make it into a poll so we can see everyone's taste Good idea, Then we can see the comparison of brands.
Habana Mike Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Not that I can't stand them, but Fonseca never did it for me. Always been one-dimensional.....
Cohiba Stevie Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 RyJ.... Far too many vitolas in the marca and too many of them are utter crap.
Lotusguy Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Partagas, tied with Cuaba Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

laficion Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 For me It must be COHIBA,and I mean ALL of the line, Too perfect for me , No taste.!!!!!!!
Smallclub Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 X3, ERDM......FLAVORLESS, BLAND CRAP how many Grandes de España have you smoked ? Corona de Luxe ? Vikingos RE?
sw15825 Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 X3, ERDM......FLAVORLESS, BLAND CRAP What might taste like crap to you could be enjoyed by someone else. Just sayin.
GernBlansten Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Can't stand would be far too harsh, but SLR has been a marque which hasn't really done it for me. +1 I'm still waaay too new with CC's to say I can't stand a brand, but my experience with SLR has not been fantastic.
AlohaStyle Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 X3, ERDM......FLAVORLESS, BLAND CRAP That's why taste is subjective... I love ERDMs! Or, you are smoking fakes. To me, I've given a lot of chances to SLRs but they just don't do it for me... too woody of a profile for me.
