Empty cigar boxes

Besides making lamps out of cigar boxes, what do y'all do with them. I have 30 boxes that I don't know what to do with.

I made something similr for my little sister last Christmas out of an Opus X Double Corona Box

I've given a few to a mate to try and make guitars

If i can get my woodworking skills up to scratch i'm gonna try and tackle something like this in the new year

I've got a few (lots) sitting empty in a stack in my basement. I toss out many dress boxes but am hard pressed to eliminate the SLBs. What to do with them I don't know. Maybe kindling?

I used an empty box as an invitation to an event I pitched for school

I used a Bolivar Churchill tubos box, for a cash box when I was vending BBQ.

I have a project, using SLB panels, to line a cabinet I am building. Got a way to go yet.

Will post pictures if I ever finish.

Great Stuff, My nieces and nephew were doing a class project at school, building various structures out of the boxes.. I founds it ironic the teachers were asking for cigar boxes in the most antismoking environment known to man..

I save all my SLB's and transfer whatever was in dress boxes, the rest just sits by the humi (should toss them)

I asked my local B&M if they wanted my 20 boxes. They won't take cuban boxes. Oh well, in the garage they sit.

Found a good use for my SLB's today.... Pretty decent cigar box guitar amp.... I may build a few of these for the fun of it and recommend it highly...

With those speakers/amps, what stops the wood from vibrating and rattling?

I peel the metal off and use them for kindling. Works really well.

The speaker is a small 4 inch speaker and the amp kicks out 1/2 or 1 watt total, it's meant as a small desktop amp not a stadium monster, so rattling isn't an issue... Also, hot glue gun helps to keep things in place, heheheh...

I use a couple to hold my lighters and cutters etc. The rest I give to my nieces and nephews for their trinkets etc while I get stinkeye from their mom when there sitting there getting a good whiff of the box interior.
