Troels Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 My first mc 520, the following didnt come near. 2. And 3. Would a rascc and a rg perla!
BRAC Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 For me it's a toss up between the H. Upmann RR and RA Superiores. Both amazing sticks!
Cohiba Stevie Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Monte Edmundo I had in Portugal. Sublime
Rye Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 If we are talking about cigars rolled/boxed in 2013, my top 3 would be; 3- Cohiba robusto. I was shocked when I lit a freshie to try out and it tasted remarkable. Like an aged one fell into the box somehow. 2- RASS, so very different than the aged ones, but worth smoking a few before they get sick. 1- Robaina farm rolled robusto with a whopping 1 week age on it. Velvety smooth, rich, and tons of chewy thick smoke. I will smoke a couple before they get moved to the back of the cabinet for awhile. If it was meant to include the best overall, my top was a mid 90's Cohiba Lancero, followed closely by a Punch Superfinos
Louich Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Best stick of 2013 year for me are: Punch Punch Casa Fuente Belicos.
Garnerinho Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 Easily the best cigar for me this year was a VR unico gifted to me. It was butterscotchy chocolatey goodness. I will be putting several of these boxes in my humidor very soon hopefully
TM-US Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 Sad to say, but the best so far was a Davidoff White Label 2012. No standout Cubans this year. Runner-up was an aged Ashton VSG Illusionist that I had this summer. Wonderful flavor, great progression. Didn't take notes to write a review.
brian1 Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 Recent Production: Monte 520 by a mile Older: Partagas Serie P2 SVF May 05
Brickhouse Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 Very easy for me to pick it out. It was a Tatuaje Cohete, during a calm and humid evening on the porch. The smoke hung for an hour. It was amazing, and easily the best cigar of the year.
liuzzi Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 09 Boli GM. Picked up a single of these during the summer and after smoking returned to the shop and took home all the boxes they had.
Puros Y Vino Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 Hands down. The 1970's era H Upmann Sir Winston I smoked this summer. Review here.
sw15825 Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 You all might laugh! But Monte 2. May 12, Upman factory. 95 pointer in my book. I have most of box left, should have bougt 5 boxes. Runners up summer 12 RASS and SLR A code unknown, was gifted.
LLC Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 2002 RA 898. Would love it get my hands on more of these.
Ophidion Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Boli French regional (liberators) It was a perfect smoke.
SMQQKIN Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Cohiba 1966 (9/11 TAU) in St. Martin - Wonderful espresso, cocoa beans and a touch of pepper flavors. Construction was superb. I can't wait to smoke another one for New Years. PSD4 (HQ 4/12 OSR) Cinnamon, pepper, wood and roasted almond flavors. Great from start to finish. The entire box has been great.
Optic101 Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 H.Upmann Royal Robusto UPE NOV 12 is the best cigar I had this year. Don't know how to describe, but this one just wow me. 1 hour of pure pleasure. A magnificent Cigar to me.
