Liking it. Like many complex cigars that are a good value I find I am liking this but unsure whether ths will be a long term go to. Share your thoughts on this.

At this point Evan Williams Black and Highland Park 12 are my favorite whiskeys.

Any suggestions are welcome too.

I've not have the Bulleit rye, but their standard is pretty good. It's not my regular bourbon (that would be Basil Hayden's), but I pick up a bottle every now and then (2-3 times a year?) for something a little different. It's not the smoothest out there, but it's certainly not the roughest. Good flavor overall, also mixes well. And the bottle is one of my faves. The wifey thinks they make good flower vases. smile.png

Good drop for the price. Bought one on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. So many other bourbons to try though :)

I enjoy Bulleit but there's so much more out there that I prefer. For me, its just not at all complex and even the standard has a bit too much "rye" flavor. The bourbon market is insane with all of the choices. I really enjoy Blanton's and Evan Williams 1783. Its fun to get a group together and have a blind tasting of 5 or 6 good bourbons to see what you like. Even more fun when you get 5 or 6 nice single batch "handcrafted" bourbons and sneak one or two "regular" bourbons in to the blind tasting.

Bulleit isn't bad for the price, but there's much better stuff out there. Great for an old-fashioned, though.

I love Buliet!!! Love the cinnamon tones it gives and very smooth. Great Bourbon at it's price point.

Great for a good manhattan. Try one perfect that is 50/50 dry to sweet vermouth in the normal manhattan ratio.
