canadianbeaver Posted November 2, 2013 Author Posted November 2, 2013 Decanter Very interesting thought. Will see if it looks like you can pour from it. By the way, the eagle is in flight.
Skyfall Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Very interesting thought. Will see if it looks like you can pour from it. By the way, the eagle is in flight. I've seen it before. It's a decanter, that head piece comes off.
Skyfall Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 It can be yours for $7.00 on Ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/A-Beam-Trout-Decanter-w-Fishing-Hall-of-fame-label-Hayward-WI-think-Christmas-/161140875678
canadianbeaver Posted November 2, 2013 Author Posted November 2, 2013 That much, huh? Thanks... We'll pass and we owe you Skyfall!!!
Skyfall Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 No problem moneypenny! I used to collect actual collectible decanters, this is not one of them. It's more than likely made by Jim Beam.
canadianbeaver Posted November 2, 2013 Author Posted November 2, 2013 Asked for thread lockdown now that you have helped me. You are the best, Skyfall! Thank you.
mk05 Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Incorrect, this is an original porcelain piece called "Fish I Saw Yesterday" dated circa 1870 by Van Gogh. It was this quintessential piece that made him realize that he was indeed not meant for sculpture. It marks a monumental point in his career. Had it not been for this humongous piece of art crap, we would not know Van Gogh as he is known today.

Paul3 Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Curious what the auction price will end up being. Probably the difference between a good laugh and feeling bad for some poor bloke.
