ehdg Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Just out of curiosity why wheren't these boxes also produced with the green ink like the UK versions where in 2010? I liked the idea of using the green ink on the LFDC boxes like they did in the old days.
CaptainQuintero Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Probably because it took a year to get green ink for the UK release, delayed the release by over 12 months
ehdg Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Probably because it took a year to get green ink for the UK release, delayed the release by over 12 months \True but hey what's a year. Just got us cigars with a bit more age. Plus this time it wouldn't have taken as long. They already had the green ink for the UK's one's that just also came out recently.
Magpie Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 My box arrived a week ago,but had to go to Melbourne. Couldn't wait to sample one of my box so had one today. Draw was a little tight but the overall experience was excellent , allow a good 75 to 90 mins. Will lay down the rest and try one at New Year , save the rest for when my brother in law gets in in March. Great video review by Rob and Ken, and agree it would match up well with a smooth rum! Those that have ordered Enjoy!
ramon_cojones Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 just my box thanks guys, will have one in a month or so
El Presidente Posted October 24, 2013 Author Posted October 24, 2013 next Shipment of LFDC confirmed next week. I believe we have about 120 people on the waiting list can still take some more. Touch base with Diana if you wish to secure a box
ramon_cojones Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 I guess I better hurry up and smoke one to see if I'll be ordering more huh? LOL
poorman Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Sent email for two boxes on the next round. thanks
Hiroshiro Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Threw my name in as well. Also contacted Ajay for the UKs. Exciting times! = )
Ken Gargett Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 Another great review.... But just want to point out again something that has been picked up in the past. What is up with the ridiculous manner in which Ken is puffing on the cigar again?? not exactly sure what you mean (bit like bagging the way someone walks!!) but i think you might mean towards the end - i was down to the last bit and it was quite hot. hence the "ridiculous" .....
westg Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 You can purchase Bishop for around $30 per bottle 10 and 12's that is ...your bottle may have a few years on it hence the $80.. that said you would have thought it was an $80 bottle, is a particularly good wine for the less expensive end of Ben Glaetzers range..Nice review wish I jumped on a box now.

Guest rob Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 Bishop has been a brilliant drop since the 2006 vintage. Huge body, complex profile and so so so full of quality. I'm lad to have a dozen of each year put away. The 06 and 10 are my favourites.
MattW Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Fantastic review! I picked up the new UK Flor de Cano while I was in London this weekend, I wonder how these two compare!
