Because you were there and all. <sigh> Sent from my DROID RAZR MAXX HD ...and in just using lots of experience of what those in my prior profession have seen...it was because this was a young kid who all by himself that this guy WITH LOTS OF PRIOR FELONIOUS, CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR (just swept undercover because his dad was a judge), figured he could buffalo this youngster, totally out of line with what was called for. We've seen it all the time, Peter. Adults who have that kind of personality on jobs, in stores, in schools, you name it regularly mistreat young folks and teens because they figure they don't know any better - and lots of them don't. That's why the military primarily only wants 17 to 21 year olds as recruits because they'll put up with the stuff they're going to be put through, much more so than older adults. And so rather than risk one of the mods having to intervene in this let me thank you for being tactful and civil; we'll agree that we're seeing this from opposing ends, and let's go back to commending the originator of this post for standing up to a bully...something most of us would like to retain the right to do.
