Wicky Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 Interesting. Penn., Conn. and Kentucky leaf. Comes in 3 sizes. 46,52 and 54.
AussieCanuck Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 .....and trying to ride on the Hoyo train.
AndrewNR Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Yeah, I looked and was like "Hoyo!" then i read the american leaves and had to look again.. Strange.
meatball41 Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 made in miami, I'd try it just to see how american tobacco ( in puro format) stacks up against the rest of the cigar tobacco countries.
DrunkenMonkey Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 I remember having a puro that was all kentucky tobacco. It wasn't good.
PaulP Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Another manufacturer jumping on the fire cured tobacco bandwagon along with Drew Estate and Sam Leccia.
Wicky Posted October 9, 2013 Author Posted October 9, 2013 Didn't know it was a "thing". Does it have any merit?
ajgagnon Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 From a distance, the construction looks ok. The trademark infringement is shocking. I'll try just about any cigar once, but I wouldn't stay up nights waiting for one. It doesn't look fire cured... isn't that the candela method?
kuzi16 Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 It doesn't look fire cured... isn't that the candela method? only one leaf in the filler is fire cured. the wrapper is a Connecticut grown Cuban seed. here are the specs: Wrapper: Connecticut Habano Binder: Connecticut Habano Filler: Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Kentucky fire-cured
