H Upmann Petit Corona

I was wondering why you don't hear too much about this cigar. I have had about 5 or 6 of these, 1 was average (draw wasn't that good) but the rest were really really good. You often hear about the Bolivar PC, but not often the H Upmann PC. What are people's thoughts about this cigar?

Good cigar, somewhat underrated but not by any means unpopular. I've yet to pick up a box myself though.

I'd buy over bolivar for sure.

So many variations on the Upmann mareva vitola...I think it gets washed out from its own internal competition like RyJ marevas.

smoked 5 or 6 boxes ... got 5 or 6 boxes aging . personally ... a mareva I choose not to be without . I smoke more boli pc's and more monty#4's tho .

Had a couple, enjoyable but none that really stood out enough for me to want to buy a box, yet. Kind of tasted like a mini sir winnie.

Has become my favorite pc of all. Have a second box on the way. The RASS robusto is my favorite cigar and the Upmann pc has similar flavor profile in a smaller format. Make no mistake this is an excellent cigar in every way. If other folks do not like them, that means more boxes for my humidor! Cheers!

Just a footnote; the petit corona vitola is very consistent in terms of construction and draw, so brand name is really irrelevant. Smaller formats of Cuban cigars seem to excel over the large sticks. I have rarely ever had a plugged or severely underfilled petit corona regardless of the marca.

Taste is subjective my friend. You may not taste the same flavor notes in these 2 cigars, but I do. At least some. So we will have to agree to disagree.

I've been looking at these for a longtime time but never pulled the trigger. They seem to be a little more expensive than other PCs. But not buy much.

Aged a few years it smooths out and I get a doughy sweetness, baked bread. Kinda goes Hoyo on ya. Fresh they are just hot and rough.
