ElJavi76 Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 My box is a SEA MAY 17 box code and they've smoked like magic. Down to 18, and slowly burning thru those. These are everything amazing about the marca. My first Cuban was an Esplendido, so there's a romance there. However, I think these do best any of the DCs or Churchill's out there.

When did you first crack into your May 17 box? I haven't cracked my JUL 18 box yet because I figured it might be too soon. I know testing one of my own is the only way to tell but I'm curious about your experience.

I just looked and my box was in hand around October of 17. So they weren't a year old when I started dipping in, but construction was flawless. These cigar have a way of hitting the ground running. If they've rested for 6 months or so, don't torture yourself and kick the tires on one. Here's a snap of my box. 1 1
mbflash80 Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 This thread led me to light up the one and only sir winston i had sitting around...courtesy of TBird55...its a nice smoke for sure. Have to try more before I could put it ahead of esplendido or punch dc on the large format. 1
Jimmy_jack Posted March 10, 2019 Posted March 10, 2019 To this day my absolute favorite smoke. The best cigar I've ever had. Don't know the box or date. It was just a wonderful cigar that made everything else in the world melt away. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk 2
Chef Posted March 10, 2019 Posted March 10, 2019 @havanaclub, @inter4alia, I eagerly look forward to your reviews. Sir Winnies are certainly on my, and many others I’m sure, shortlist.
