The worst ones I own, are the empty ones! Since I've been letting the Prez pick most of them for me, they have all been stunning! (Boy does that ever sound like brown-nosing after reading) ;-)

I have a box of 10 Short Churchills, well now 8, and they have a light thin tan wrapper you can see the green binder through--have a feeling they aren't coming back.  Ugly as hell.  Taste terrible, te

That's funny.

Worst for me was a box of H Uppman Half Coronas. I was just unlucky I guess. Draw was tight. Taste was bad. Wrappers were ugly and looked like some had been pinched whilst being rolled. Wasn't very happy. But will give it another shot. This time I'll buy a box of the half Coronas from the next 24:24 / 24:74 sale.

As I have stated before I got involved with CC's in 2010 just when they started to begin their ascent

to an outstanding 3 or 4 year run.  The only problems I have ever encounted were from vendors

that were not FOH.  Have never ever had any problems with FOH cigars.  Before becoming

an FOH member I had my share of crap.  Plugged, dried out, taste of god only knows, when I opened

one or two it looked like the savana of Africa twigs, paper and stems that reminded me of the mango swamps

of Florida, a heap of crap!  I guess todays CC's are on a downward curve which I have never had the honor

of being a part of.  That being said it looks like are good buddy Rob is doing the best he can in

bringing us members the best he can find when he crashes the warehouse and master cases.

Every week it looks like it is harder and harder to find either PSP or high end HQ.'s.  This looks like

it is a problem world wide now.  And if Rob can't get the PSP's or HQ's I guess know one can.

I have stocked up on a lot of PSP's from 2011 through 2014 and am enjoying them each and

every day thanks to Rob.  I don't mind buying PE's because I know Rob's PE's are better

than the other vendors by a country mile.  Bought a box of RyJ Julietas (25) from 2012 three weeks ago

(FOH) and they are "smoking the house down" what a coup from the 24:24 program, Rob comes

through again. My coin is either staying in my pocket or going into Rob's.  Cao mates and happy hunting.

La Flor De Cano Grandiosos

When I cut it, the unlit flavor is remarkable, one of the best I've ever tasted before I spark it.

Then I spark it.  It's way too big a cigar to be mediocre and bland.  They're perfectly useful for when I want to smoke and ignore it, like on a golf course, but they are almost guaranteed to disappoint.  Luckily there's only 10 of em.

Monte 5s bought in Singapore duty free.

Looked like carp and tasted same. I wouldn't have bought them but I didn't take any cigardps with me so had no choice. All the cigars at Singapore duty free were the same. I question whether they were even authentic.

anyone else has similar experience there?

Enough complaining.

We live 2.5 hours north of Toronto. Big pool, great liquor store, music, dog and us.

Get in the car, bring these sewer sticks and get up here. A band owes me a night of live music too.

Trade, hang out and smoke'em.

One man's shite is another man's shangri-la.

H. Upmann Monarchs, 2002 if I recall.  I could feel the knot in them.  Drawpoker helped, and some were such that I could get a good half out of them cutting out the knot.  Still have a few left thinking they might loosen up...maybe in another 15 years!

I had another issue with long smokes...RA Gigantes, 2008 I believe.  Same deal, tight and noticeable knots in the roll.

Otherwise beautiful smokes, but I would rather they spend the time on the inside rather than the outside. :)
