oliverdst Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Probably a dumb question but is it allowed to buy personally and send the humidor to another country? Otherwise the only way to have it is to buy a small one and put inside the bag. Or go to Cuba in a private jet.

Oliver, from my experience : It is not a problem to either buy or commission a humidor personally from Jose Ernesto and have it shipped to your home country, it is a demanding thing as it requires paperwork and time, but it is possible and it is done. Here's their website for further info ( their workshop is called Humidors of Havana ) : http://humidorsofhavana.com/ My visit last year to Jose Ernesto : http://flyingcigar.de/startseite/visiting-humidor-artist-jose-ernesto-aguilera/ 1

LLC Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 I had a chance to visit the humidor factory with a group led by Nino in November and it was a highlight of my trip. The passion and workmanship is at the very highest level.
