I could have sworn we were going to find out that Fuzz was punking Prez again!

I agree.... Anyone who makes unsubstantiated threat is fair game. Especially and particularly when done in an aggressive and threatening manner.

Oh, is it just me, or does every single post Shlomo makes go something along he likes of:

- Someone posts

- Shlomo responds with insinuation / implication / antagonising or policing

- Original poster, or someone else replies with "Shlomo please go away, you're trolling again"

- Shlomo responds with "you've misunderstood me, that's not what I meant"

Sometimes people are just misunderstood and need the love they never received, Who knows how many ballet recitals dad missed.

Woah hold on, you misunderstood, I meant the cigar complain guy!

This thread has made my day ,laughed my arse off ,nearly as goods as the go and get MODERATED .

But seriously for a minute this just showcases the crap that Rob has to put up with on a daily/monthly basis ,and 99.9% of it we never get to hear about ,unscrupulous people trying to get something for nothing, makes my blood boil.

If there are problems there are ways to address said issues either by phone or email ,not by threats .

I to am like Rob you can call me anything you want (and some usually do LOL) but never question my integrity,it is my shield for this life and camnot be questioned or bought

Very well said Rob and thanks for sharing

This is the third one in 10 days along the same lines. Normally average one a month. I am always happy to educate politely... but this one just rubbed me the wrong way lol3.gif

The E-mail

Dear Rob

It is with great disappointment that I have received fake Montecristo Number 2 from Friends of Habanos.

While the cigars look excellent, there are inconsistencies with the gauge of the individual cigars. I have consulted with cigar friends who also noted inconsistencies with the foot of the cigars in particular the bunching of the foot. It is well known that such inconsistencies are testament to fakes.

I am very experienced in the world of cigars having smoked them for many years. My friends are even more experienced. I suspect these cigars have been rolled outside of Cuba using Cuban tobacco.

I will provide you one opportunity to make this situation right before posting on forums around the world that you are selling fake cigars.

I look forward to a speedy resolution to this matter.

My Response

Dear Moron.

Post away.

Rob

His Response

I have never experienced such appalling levels of customer service.

This is your last chance.

Purveyors of fakes normally aren't big on customer service.

Post away. Don't let fear hold you back.

Rob

His Response.

I have reported you to Habanos s.a and am now about to e-mail Pacific Cigar Company Australia and Hong Kong to report both your conduct and your selling of fakes.

I still seek a resolution to this matter.

My Response

My experience is that the cigars will be vintage before you get a response. Try these e-mail addresses for the respective VP's.

Happy Hunting.

Rob

24 hours later

Dear Rob

I have now had the opportunity to smoke one of the cigars and believe they are authentic.

My sincere apologies and I hope that this does not affect our ongoing business relationship

Best regards

Piss off and leave me alone.

Rob

I have a similar complaint as this person... the Monte 2 , BBF and H Up 46 you sent are soooo good , they must be fakes, Real CC's are variable, underflled, plugged and have cracked wrappers My lawyer will be in touch

These e-mails must really (moderated) a wonderful day with Ken et al. The cigar biz is a way to bring joy to so many.

There must be some way to deal with this with an auto response to limit your aggro, like "thank you for your e-mail. I am not available at this time. Please take iit up with my regional rep in your location".

Well, we do get to hear about it, if Rob is drinking and at ease somewhere. Man, you wouldn't BELIEVE the stories he tells about Smithy and Ken!!!!!! Demanding green M&M's only, sparkling water in their own personal fridge, a lifetime supply of Cuabas, etc., etc. The nerve of some people! devil2.gifstir.gifbiggrin.pnglaugh.png
