frenchkiwi
as for plain packaging for the nicotine delivery industry (cigarettes), go ahead, be my guest, they cost taxpayers at large so much in health bills etc, and waste a fair few lives at the same time. don't know how much it's going to help but knock yourselves out... For cigars, on the other hand, Cuba need to get those nukes that Krushchev promised them (late delivery), aim them at Canberra, and then open negotiations... that's the only kind of leverage that gets things done in international affairs (North Korea could get plain packaging And duty cancelled with one phone call)

Guest rob
Whats to say cuba doesnt win any legal battles but still doesnt want plain packages and just ceases cigar trade to australia? Cuba doesn't trade it's cigars directly with Australia. Trade is done through one of its privately owned global distributors (Pacific Cigar Co.) in Hong Kong Cigars not entering Australia would be because PCC wind down their distribution to here.
