CaptainQuintero Posted April 27, 2013 Author Posted April 27, 2013 I heard that too, that they're coming in boxes of 100. I think that's great, it means all the shops will be selling singles. You mean you won't be picking up a couple of boxes for £4k each lol? I wonder when they will really get released, baring in mind that nearly all UK REs seem to get around 18 months of bonus aging by accident
mb55317 Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Given hunters are going to store them in their warehouse for 2 years one hopes they'll be on time
dangolf18 Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 They should have just let the tobacco age in havana for two years longer before being rolled. The tobacco would inevitably be richer and better.
Chelsea8 Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 They should have just let the tobacco age in havana for two years longer. Since they are Hunters & Frankau, think they know that "a bird in the hand ......." . No use scrambling at the last minute, hoping the cigars would be delivered in time for the anniversary celebrations. We all know what kind of delays there are for LEs, REs etc.
Bolismoker Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Cigar sounds great, hope I can get my hands on a few when they are released.
celtmick1984 Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Any dimensions on the H & F 225s, Nino? I'm sure Trevor and Alexander are interested too. Thanks for sharing the pic.
Nino Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Any dimensions on the H & F 225s, Nino? I'm sure Trevor and Alexander are interested too. Thanks for sharing the pic. I'll see that I take some more pics, measure dimensions and post them - no problem.
Nino Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Rainy day here, so after my gym I spent some time in the cellar and took the time to photograph the RA ( petit ) 109's and take some measures. The cigar is ca. 14x2 cm - maybe someone can translate that into inches. BTW : I put them on top of a box of RA Superiores and they'd fit in nicely, same length I believe. Here's some more pics :
CaptainQuintero Posted April 30, 2013 Author Posted April 30, 2013 cool stuff, so 5 1/2 x 50 roughly I think
bugman78629 Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Looking forward to these! Happy to box split as and when they're released if anyone wants them (I'm in UK) Look me-up..............
mb55317 Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Look me-up.............. Will do! I'll look up this thread when they're released and see if anyone wants to do a split
almudawi Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Oh boy! Can't wait for the release.. Making space for a cab of these in my humidor already!
CaptainQuintero Posted June 8, 2013 Author Posted June 8, 2013 The anniversary style cigars seem to becoming popular, trying to take after the RA Phoenecios maybe?
BehikeLover2 Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Cool pic. Surprised to see the tightness of the ribbon though. Can't imagine what that will do to the cigars after a few years! love the tight ribbon! when you check out old cabinets from 60s to 80s you see they have always been very tight. doesnt damage the cigar but it will leave a permanent dent....if you like that, that personal taste just like box pressed cigars when will they be out? 2015?
