Off topic - I was having terrible service from my bank... Constantly over promised and under delivered. Not from one person, but by everyone - including the manager. Was getting to the point I was putting off calling them because of the anger I would build up talking to them.

I had a friend I know, who is a broker, hook me up with a new bank / accounts. As all the stuff was being set up, the bank manager caught wind of it and called me directly.

He literally pleaded with no to go. He offered me a $10k direct deposit into my bank account if I stayed - seriously. It was pathetic.

That's amazing and probably close to offering a bribe if I'm reading the 10k part correctly...?

Id have taken the $10k and then switched the next month
