CanuckSARTech Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Actually the first true tessellation I ever created was for the Toronto Herf last year, I gave out post cards with this on it and there were 2 framed prints in the silent auction. Note the lighters between the cigar bands... Ray, it's very cool. I was one of the winning bidders of a signed full-sized framed print of it, at last year's MegaHerf, and my wife and I enjoy it immensely.
Fuzz Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 How about a repeating pattern of Kens face. Do you really want to break the internet?
canadianbeaver Posted April 22, 2013 Author Posted April 22, 2013 Latest additions to the collection. Hope you don't mind me sharing... Martinis; Snakes and Ladders.
finecigar Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Really great stuff you are creating here. I enjoy how you energize both the positive and negative space on the picture planes you have created. My favorite is the gold and red one! You should try and challenge yourself to make an achromatic one, I always find that to be enjoyable.
canadianbeaver Posted April 27, 2013 Author Posted April 27, 2013 Here is the achromatic design after the thinking from the post above, and the design from today.
finecigar Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Love how it turned out! Thanks for taking what I said into thought and spending time on it. Great work!
canadianbeaver Posted May 10, 2013 Author Posted May 10, 2013 Been a while and I now have all my tessellations on this web site. www.tesspattern.com But the reason I have dug up this thread today is to share my latest design so you can use it this weekend. Just save it as an image on your laptop and e-mail away. Mother's Day
