Ghabanos Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Anybody try using these for humidors? They are suppose to regulate both temp and humidity. Share with me your experiences.
edlye Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Yes, just put a small boveda pack in the dress box or SLB and chuck the box in. I have a digitally controlled one and set the RH value equal to the boveda pack.

PigFish Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 You look at the charts for these? A couple of grand to store your cigars <= 5rH. Puros Y Vino Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Sounds counterproductive. The unit is built to remove moisture. And I quote "Electronic dry boxes contain a small Peltier cooler, which removes moisture from the air by condensing it out" Can't have humidity without moisture.
Colt45 Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 This is why I wanted you to do it for me Ross... -Piggy But Comrade..... Ray, I hope when you are happy / ready with your humidors, you'll let us know.......

It is exactly what you'll need if you live in an environment that is 75-85%RH on average. Some of us don't need a humidifier because we have too much humidity in the ambient air.
