beamer Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Curious. Like the subject says- what do you find yourself reaching for most consistently? And why? Flavor? Construction? Bolivar RC for me lately. The 11 boxes have been surprisingly good. Slightly harsh towards the very end, but delicious up until then and good construction throughout. 1
mazolaman Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Lately, a Quai D'Orsay Corona...just as a straight, good daily smoke... 1
IcedCanuck Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Partagas Short is my daily go to stick for several reasons: Still too cold outside to enjoy anything bigger (Canadian winter is not over yet) Never had construction or burn issues Love the flavour Good price point 1
Ophidion Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 CGR Real answer: Boli PC or whatever other pcs I have lying around.
Lotusguy Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Still too cold outside to enjoy anything bigger (Canadian winter is not over yet) You say that like Canadian winter is ever over
jlacava88 Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Partagas Short is my daily go to stick for several reasons: Still too cold outside to enjoy anything bigger (Canadian winter is not over yet) Never had construction or burn issues Love the flavour Good price point X2 ... Reliable and delicious Canadian winters..... *sigh*
baragh Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Por Laranaga Panetela...because I smoke quite a bit and they are tasty, smooth, and at $3/stick I haven't found a better cigar + 1 love the PL flavour profile
stargazer14 Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Quint Brevas, only because its been a cold damp winter and I have not had the pleasure to sit on on the porch looking over the south 40 and take the time to enjoy a quality stick. So I take a Breva with me to smoke in the truck or while I'm picking up branches around the farm. This also leaves more time for all the nicer smokes to smooth out for the summer ahead on the boat. I did step it up the other day tho and had a nice Cuaba Tradicionales. 1
Wil Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 H. Upmann half corona. Really tasty little smoke that never disappoints. Don't often have time to smoke anything bigger!

Works well not only for winters but also when it's sweltering and hot.
finecigar Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 ERdM Demi Tasses, they are real sweet tasty, to the point smokes which during this time of year I don't like being out smoking for more than 20-30 minutes. they pack a lot in them.
kjellfrick Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Punch Super Seleccion No.1. Great construction and the taste is just what I like.

shrink Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 H. Upmann Royal Robusto. The essence of a young Upmann.
BMack Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 It changes depending on the day but I think my next box will be RASS, they're just soo darn flavorful and smooth! Others include JL1, Partagas 898, PLPC and BRC, BPC 1
MnMWC Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Lately, reaching for RASS and Punch DC's. Weird combo... but it trips my trigger.
JohnnyNorth Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 In the winter partagas aristocrats(JUNE 09) are great! - nice green pepper bite, which softers towards the end to velvety cream coffee - always solid construction - smoking time 30min and sometimes i smoke non-cubans in cold seasons.
