assassin
A fair assessment. He had to take them on to the next generation. No one could do it for Freddie Mercury... Exactly

DrunkenMonkey
Bon. Period. I enjoy Brian as well but...Bon. Everything about AC/DC was better in those days. Yup.

trader1974
Brian Johnson is fantastic, but I vote for Bon Scott. That voice just cuts through you....If you want blood......you got it!
bummy
Bon Scott !
kcheek
Although I feel Back in Black is quite possibly AC/DC's best over all album, and Brian gets most all the credit for writing a lot of the songs, Bon Scott defines AC/DC. Jailbreak, High Voltage, Long Way to the Top (if you want to rock and roll), Ride on, Highway to Hell, Shot down in Flames, the list goes on and on. Bon Scott will always be AC/DC to me. dan5974
Without a doubt it's Bon Scott.Brian Johnson is a worthy replacement though.I like them both, but the earlier stuff is definetly better.
