That takes me way back. My grade 10 computer lab was full of those and PETS and a few rare and unloved ICON systems. My brother used to program with punch cards back in the 80's. My fondest memory is when he took me to his university's lab. Some guy was carrying a two foot high stack of punch cards ready to load. He walked over, slipped and the whole stack fell and exploded onto the floor. He stood stoic for a few seconds, let out a big If you see Kaye and then walked out of the lab.

Fuzz Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Ah, strolling down memory lane! My old C64 is sitting in a box in the closet, and it still works! Pity I don't have any controllers that still function. The number of joysticks I went through playing Summer Games, Decathalon, California Games, ... some days I wish I had worked harder to convince my parents to buy me that arcade style joystick board. Would have saved a lot in replacement joysticks.
ptrthgr8 Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Even my computer comes from Cuba: Ah, yes. There's no place like 127.0.0.1 Cheers, ~ Greg ~ Sent from my HTC Thunderbolt using Tapatalk 2.
