surly Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 grabbed a 5 pack of these and i have smoked just one so far - it's a nice little smoke but i have to say i prefer the quintero favoritos. i'll smoke the rest of the pack and see if my opinion changes. i think i prefer the loose draw and down and dirty appeal of the favoritos if that makes any sense.
Cisco Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 I've read somewhere that the 5 x 5 packs are lesser in quality than the dress box. Anyone have any experience with this? I initially sampled a 5 pack and the cigars were great, so I purchased a 5 x 5. However, these are not as good and have lighter coloured wrappers than the first 5 pack I sampled.

hounser Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 I've had excellent luck with the RG perlas I've had. No construction issues, no draw issues, lots of sweetness. I really like these during the cold months, definitely a great C & C I think.

cigarbreak Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Only had one of the RG Perlas and one of the Quinteros and just based on that its RG ftw. Found the RG to give me more rounded flavour and bite than the Quinteros which I found to be too light for my liking. The taste that lingers in my mouth after the RG was superb too.
