Ken Gargett Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 a report today. always liked him. personally, i think the fact that they get paid the same as the men is one of the greatest absurdities on the planet. and i sincerely hope that the grubby azarenko never wins another thing. CHEEKY Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga has blamed emotional instability for the lack of a consistently dominant group in women's tennis to match the men's ``big four''. Swiss great Roger Federer's five-set quarter-final win over Tsonga on Wednesday night meant the top four men's seeds all reached the Australian Open semi-finals. That was not the case for the women, after 19-year-old American Sloane Stephens upset five-time champion Serena Williams in a quarter-final on Wednesday, with China's Li Na having ousted fourth seed Agnieszka Radwanska a day earlier. "The girls they are more unstable emotionally than us,'' Tsonga said with a smile, when asked why there were more upsets in the women's draw. "I'm sure everybody will say it's true, even the girls. "No? You don't think?'' he asked, when met with an uncertain reaction from listening media. "I mean, it's just about hormones and all this stuff. We don't have all these bad things so we are physically in a good shape every time and you are not. That's it.''
Wil Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 I thought Tsonga looked pretty emotionally unstable in that last set. And no upset...
