El Presidente Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Perfect blue sky and hot weekend ahead. Taking my daughter (15) to the beach markets this Saturday for some father daughter time. I know it is going to cost me mucho dinero The Murwillumbah markets are a "hippy markets" in Northern New South Wales. Plenty of home made clothing, crystals, incense, "weed". I like going there as you can have a cigar without anyone caring....the aroma in the air is shall we say "already intense" They make some great doughnuts. Pop in and see mum and dad at the coast on the way home. Quick swim/surf, back home, dinner with the family. Sunday I think I will go and see Gangster Squad, followed by a long lunch and a bottle of wine. Then I will take the Fast bastard Competition Weigh in Photo

A lot of time inside, a cold snap is moving through suppose to bring single digit high, below or near 0 low. Sunday I have no plans but hope our streak of below freezing temps eases enough for some smoking time in the yard. Life is good! No bad days allowed.

Starts at 7 pm, no end time - Springbank is the Ramon Allones of the Scotch Whisky World. Can't lose! Saturday Morning - Ardbeg Masterclass. Hoping to try a new Ardbeg that isn't released yet! Saturday Early Afternoon - BenRiach/Glendronach Masterclass - I don't care for the Glendronach, but the BenRiach is my favorite Highland Whisky...awesome! * Break for Afternoon Cigar* Saturday Afternoon - Canadian Club Masterclass. I had to take this Masterclass in order to be allowed to buy my tickets early. I will taste, but will spit this whisky....blech. Saturday Evening 7-10 pm - 3 Hours of open pours from most Distilleries of Scotch, Bourbon, Irish, Canadian, Indian Whisky you've ever heard of, and many you havn't! I expect to put back 50+ whiskies over the course of the weekend. Sunday will be a rough one......
