OZCUBAN Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 As the famous line from a great Aussie poem goes "I love a sun burnt country" Which much of the country on Catastrophic fire warning today,with a TOTAL fire ban ,just sending out a stay safe message for our members affected Here in the West we have had nearly 2 weeks of 37.c+,apparently in our state we have the record for the most consecutive days over 37 it's over a 100 WTF a place called Marble Bar Remember to stay Hydrated Hope to have a Cigar later on today more than likely after 10.00pm ,once it has cooled below 30.c As at times it can be to cold to enjoy a cigar ,it can also be to hot Cheers and stay safe

OZCUBAN Posted January 8, 2013 Author Posted January 8, 2013 Hi Graham We are some what lucky here in the West we have a sea breeze most days,called the "Fremantle Doctor",but in weather like this it is somewhat ineffectual I guess this is the price we pay here for glorious weather most of the year Cheers
Hazza Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Enjoy that air con Steve. I'll be out in the heat until about six tonight moving approx 120 ton worth of pipe in and out of a stinking hot shed. The breeze is making it just bearable at the moment. I too am looking forward to a cigar later on tonight. Hopefully it does cool down, last night was a warm one. Take care everyone

Fuzz Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Temps are starting to fall slowly in the Greater Western Sydney region, but only by a degree or two. Still plenty of ambient ground heat and that bloody warm westerly keeping the temps up.
