westg Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 Have seen the following these have so I purchased a box. Feb 12..I must say very nice little cigar. Can see myself having one of these every morning. And for the price evening as well.
westg Posted December 30, 2012 Author Posted December 30, 2012 Just had one with a pot of chai tea..amazing pairing, earthy, rich and spicey. Really impressive little cigar .
lovesmallrg Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 what would you guys say the strength of these is? As in mild, medium, full? Thinking about picking up them or a box of Rafeal Gonzales petite coronas. I do like them full strength, though. My favorite petite corona is a bolivar
Lotusguy Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 At the low end of medium for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
lovesmallrg Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 thanks. when I dismiss larger rg's and less than full strength smokes, and then contend with who will ship to my area it doesn't leave a whole lot. On the plus side, that gives me more to focus on to start doing some planning for aging.
surly Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 I'm smoking a box that is a year old right now and they are great. I find I'm favouring them over the Por Larranaga Panetelas.
Cisco Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 When on, the PLP are really hard to beat, literally "best bang " for the money out there. I do enjoy the RG PEs A LOT and always have some in the rotation, but they are clearly second to the PLP for me. BTW, I find the RG PE do need some time to show well, whereas the PLP can be great ROTT.
Awwfudge Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 About a year ago, I had the pleasure of smoking a RG with about 5 years of age on it....Im now sold on the brand, great smoke!
airtrade Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 I'm enjoying these very much. Just got a box and it was from 2010! Not quite as flavorful as a PLP but a good change of pace.
