The best things in life get a year older on 1st January

Although this may be factually incorrect I love the fact that many of the best things in life seem to get a year older (in a good way) in one day when the year turns...I'd include the below in this:

Wine

Cigars (ok they have month dates but really every 2012 box is older when the date is 2013)

Racehorses (all have their birthday on 1st Jan in northern hemisphere)

anything else you think fits the bill?

... getting poorer (less income), mentally weaker! I think I am getting younger!!! -LOL I have devolved into an 8th grader who smokes cigars older than he is! Maybe an 18yo woman would help!
