Never seen a turkey prepared in that way, wooa! David, your appetite is amazing!

Best,

How are you going to cook it. In the oven? Smoker?

Looks great BTW

Thanks for sharing the pic

I've seen that pic a few times, never ceases to make me laugh.

PS: I would think a deep fryer would be the way to go with that one, or would it burn the bacon too much?

I make this every year, deep fryer burns the bacon. In the oven there is too much bacon fat dripping down, it will smoke your house out. The only way to get it done right is on the smoker for 12-15 hours.

Wow!!!! That is just the most amazing looking turkey I've ever seen...

Just a curious, is the skin on or off under the bacon? Reminds me of the bacon explosion.

Hmm. Looks good, but I think it needs more bacon. :)

As our friends in the KPG (Kosher Partie du Quebec) would say, "Traif bien!"

This Thanksgiving, I am thankful for David and his mouth watering, droll inducing pictures on a cigar forum.

There is nothing more effective sometime than well placed sarcasm. Well played...

All turkeys wish they had a bacon jacket! Any photos of the finished bird 15 hours later David?

Just saw this somewhere else: http://9gag.com/gag/5860531 jester.gif

I've been making it for 10 years and my old man has been making it for 10 years before that.

I'm going to wrap my cruddy '09 Monte 2s in some bacon to see if they will be worth smoking after.

Please tell me that it tastes as amazing as it sounds. Turkey wrapped in bacon and smoked for 12-15 hours...I can't get that thought out of my head!

This Thanksgiving there will be some redksins in town to join you!

RGIII and his rag tag bunch of sidekicks looking to smoke some cowboys.

I imagine they will put a thumping down on the Cowboys this year, remember I'm a huge RG3 fan myself, so I am very torn this year.
