We got here last night around 1030pm so no deer pics yet. I just got up 6am here so I need to get moving. Going to have some bacon and coffee then up in the stand I go. Pics to follow

First spot was a bust. Went to my backup spot and spooked an 8pt. Tried to call it back but it was too late at that point. Exciting first morning.

Sounds like an amazing weekend, what will you do with the animal when you get it? Will you have it mounted and use the meat? Im just curious.

Excellent pics.

If its a big deer 8+ points we usually get it mounted. But every deer we take we eat the meat either in steak, sausage, or jerky. Some people eat the ribs but we usually don't.
