Cohiba Stevie Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 Saw this video posted on another site: Martinez Cigars It's the latest in a series of videos that demonstrate the love, passion and fellowship that go into things that are made by hand, cigars being one of them. The other videos are well worth a watch too. It would be interesting to hear from any of our NY members if they have ever had, or regularly smoke Martinez cigars. Many Thanks.

Nino Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 Beautiful images, thank you very much for sharing !! Wish I had known about this place when I was still flying into the Big Apple ....
Cohiba Stevie Posted September 10, 2012 Author Posted September 10, 2012 I think the video is beautifully made with brilliant execution... But... It did make me a little sad, thinking about the ever mounting govt. legislation that is attempting to quash cigar smoking across the world, I cant help but think that places like this will become more scarce. But all we can do is be positive. I am feeling more confident with the way things are going at FOH and the czar. A sterling effort from Rob and the gang.

Agree with your sentiments. Makes me even more happy about our refuge here in the village where we can have that same atmosphere ( without a roller and dominoes ) and enjoy the camaderie of cigars. Would hate the day we could no longer enjoy it .... but then again, there's a will so we'd find a way ... OT : Thinking about Cuba and such great meeting places, it makes me sad that exactly that kind of govt. legislation will one day banish all these places into oblivion once ......
LLC Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 Great video. The fact it was shot in B&W really added to it.

jlacava88 Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Wow... now I need a plane ticket to NYC!! Incredible
hardrock86 Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 Went in there last week to pick up a cigar while walking to my friends apartment..they are located right near Penn Station so its very convenient. The guys behind the counter were very nice, and the cigar was nice as well. I believe you can buy living social type deals with them to watch them roll cigars and maybe roll your own.
mbrody Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 Great video...thanks for sharing. I will have to stop by next time I am in Penn!
demiurgic Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Gorgeous! The director must be a cigar lover to capture such brilliance. Kudos Brother!
