sengjc Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Innis & Gunn Original Oak Aged Ale with my smoke today.
kevinfj Posted May 26, 2013 Author Posted May 26, 2013 Yesterday, IPA from Cambridge Brewing Company (Mass). Reminds me of a West Coast Amber Ale loaded with hops. Today, strong-ass Imperial IPA. Followed by home brew Apricot Hefeweissen. Not my best effort........ Paired with this little beauty.
Hypersomniac Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 I had trouble posting images last night, so here we go again. I started off with an Empyrean Dark Side Vanilla Porter And followed it with a Madison River Black Ghost
Roanoke Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Mayflower out of Plymouth MA (Plymouth rock anyone?) made a Double IPA for their 5th Anniversary. Nice!! These and your other posts show some great taste in beer. Excellent choices from another Masshole! If you're ever in the area, Hyland's Orchards in Sturbridge makes some excellent local brews. Well worth your time if you can make it there. Cheers!

kevinfj Posted June 1, 2013 Author Posted June 1, 2013 A little Sixpoint Resin (Brooklyn NY). 103 IBU's. Photo Bomb by my niece.
vitruvius Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 I agree with that. I also love the brune d'Achouffe with a good CC. it's a dark strong beer from Belgium, very spicy.
vitruvius Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Leffe is quite good with a Cigar. I agree with that !
vitruvius Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Chimay White is the gold standard Triple. La Fin Du Monde is not far behind. This Triple is from Stoudts (PA). Lacks the dry finish that I like but not that bad. Check out the photo bomb by my dog. Nice! La fin du monde really a perfect match for a good CC. One of the best micro brewery beer we have here in Quebec IMO.
olotti Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 Drinking a Belgian IPA from Brewery Vivant here in Michigan. Nice mild hoppiness with the added Belgian sweetness, this style is quickly becoming a favorite of mine as it blends my two favorite styles of beer. Always on the lookout for new versions of this as of right now I understand it's still a newer beer blend but the couple I've had from various breweries have been very good.
kevinfj Posted June 7, 2013 Author Posted June 7, 2013 Today it rained like stink on the East Coast (US). This is what happened.........
kevinfj Posted June 13, 2013 Author Posted June 13, 2013 Oskar Blues (Colorado) is slowly becoming one of my favorite breweries.
Jefferson Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Enjoyed this combo of Rogue Dead Guy Ale and a Cohiba last Thursday while RV'ing at Table Rock SP.
kevinfj Posted June 18, 2013 Author Posted June 18, 2013 Maine Beer Company continues to impress. This Vanilla Stout was a welcome after dinner brew. And the name...."Mean Old Tom"........perfect.
kevinfj Posted June 25, 2013 Author Posted June 25, 2013 It's friggin hot in New England. This helps. Home brew Double IPA.
kevinfj Posted June 27, 2013 Author Posted June 27, 2013 Watching US Women's Open. The greens at Sebonac look impossible. Imperial IPA from Oregon.
kevinfj Posted July 6, 2013 Author Posted July 6, 2013 It's hot hot friggin hot in New England. Today a collaboration brew from Schneider (Germany obviously) and Brooklyn Brewing (Garrett Oliver) that is basically a Hop-ed out Hefeweissen. Great summer offering......
Tino Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Couldn't resist the Czech Norris purely on the name! The Kernel are probably the best modern UK brewery right now
kevinfj Posted July 29, 2013 Author Posted July 29, 2013 Today was a good day. Celebrating with a Dogfish Head Imperial IPA. Hop Bomb!!!!
ilikebeertoo Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 So very true. Please don't tell anyone else! Great selection of beers and cigars. I'll post my current go-to this evening when the time comes for the evening smoke -- it's a locally made brew (I'm in MA as well). This Ok. No more bold statements on my part.
