Used to love South Side Pride made by Baderbrau before they closed. Just tasted like good beer. I absolutely love Metropolitan's Helles at their taproom. It's outstanding. Out of the can it was pretty good but not the same as a fresh tap pour. If you are ever in Chicago I highly recommend visiting their tap room. I also love their Kolsch.
El Hoze Posted May 25, 2020 Posted May 25, 2020 That is good to know, thanks for the heads up! I am usually in Chicago once or twice a month in a “normal” month, very much looking forward to getting back up there when things get a bit closer to normal! I miss it! 1
Wookie Posted May 29, 2020 Posted May 29, 2020 Anybody tried the Treetop? Had the Julius today...not bad but my favorite so far is one that trillium makes with a squirt of Pinot Gris in it...it has a pic of a 1980s cellphone on the can. 3

Treetop is central Mass. I've heard people wait in line out there to buy. I'm hoping the Haze is more compelling. The Julius was fine, but tasted like a million others of the same ilk.
Popular Post Wookie Posted May 29, 2020 Popular Post Posted May 29, 2020 This is one I love...peanut butter milk stout...apparently the roasted malts produce the PB flavor naturally. 5

I am on the hunt for either of those breweries hazy’s. I was supposed to go in April but CV19 kinda threw a wrench in that idea. One day. Enjoy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Popular Post Wookie Posted May 29, 2020 Popular Post Posted May 29, 2020 This is the double IPA.... not too hopped up, a bit of citrus. Better than the Julius. Still prefer the Trillium I think. But I’m no beer aficionado. 5
lovethehaze Posted May 29, 2020 Posted May 29, 2020 Back with the STA (Sabro Transit Authority) like CTA .... Sooooo good and juicy but light 4

To me it’s better that’s all I drink when I go to lake Geneva ..... I do have some spotted cow as well. This is a pale ale not a cream ale. Most people like the cow b/c it’s more famous but the moon man is Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
