Stump89 Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Never saw this one before. Gose with black salt and cantaloupe. Actually quite nice. 2 1
Mr.T Posted July 12, 2019 Posted July 12, 2019 A really solid hazy from one of my favorite breweries Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
encephalization Posted July 30, 2019 Posted July 30, 2019 Some recent good beers. Epic again, they do their expensive stuff very well.Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk 1
GWG Posted August 4, 2019 Posted August 4, 2019 2015 de molen and hair of the dog colab, Hair of the Dog Fred golden special ale. Taste like it settled into a higher abv (10.7), warming up a bit made a nice difference. Good with the 2014 sancho, neither overwhelms the other. Always like this beer, Hair of the dog Adam is also great with a cigar and friends.

It does not disappoint. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk Never to hot for a great stout!!! 1

Friek from Odell was just fantastic, raspberry and cherry sour aged in bourbon barrels. Much better than Planete Rouge from Deschutes. Then a four year vertical of Ozark BDCS. 2016 very chocolatey, 2017 also good. 2018 my least favorite of the four. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk Would love to see the cigar pairings on those. 1
GWG Posted August 6, 2019 Posted August 6, 2019 Wonderful beer paired well with this 16 VR Famosa, the beer rich, dark, roasty and a bit dry. The VR one of my favorites. Thick smoke touch of chocolate, fig, cedar and spice on the tip of my tongue....Yummy both of them! 1
Colt45 Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Not a great fan of fruity beers, but as JA House Lager is my "regular", thought I'd give this a try. Like it - just a tinge of orange. 1
Mr.T Posted August 17, 2019 Posted August 17, 2019 Very nice Double IPA...love cabin time and beer together and the the art is nice too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
encephalization Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 Love this tread, true underappreciated B side of FoH.Mikkeller (which I've posted on earlier) is a Danish brewery that recently started their first US brewery in San Diego. Passion Pool, only brewed here in the US, is probably the best beer I've had in 2019. If you find it, buy it! If not, and you're a fan of fruity goses, shoot me a PM and I might be able to get you a can.Other highlights in the last couple of weeks include: Omnipollo Fatamorgana (not nearly as good as the EU brewed though), Omnipollo Neb (probably better than the EU brewed??), Omnipollo Poli Mango (first time, Brazilian style IIPA, very good), Deschutes Abyss Brandy (second in my mind of that series), and Evil Citra Slacker (not bad at all).Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk 1 1
Bill Hayes Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 A couple of nice HAZY's from NZ with a Friends theme. 2

Bill Hayes Posted September 14, 2019 Posted September 14, 2019 Visited the Fixation Brewery. Especially liked the Space Cake Hazy IPA (pictured) and the 86 Hazy IPA. 3
Bill Hayes Posted October 30, 2019 Posted October 30, 2019 The weather has turned for the good down in Melbourne this week. Time for a refreshing Kolsch! 2 1
Mr.T Posted November 2, 2019 Posted November 2, 2019 Fall is here so time for a delicious stout from a great brewery Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 4
GWG Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 Very nice imperial porter and a RYJ churchill. The beer is a collaboration of jester king and pohjala from Estonia. Lite notes of the port barrels. The cigar is lovely. I dont know why I don't smoke this more often other than it isnt always available. Thick smoke, smooth creamy mouthfeel, leathery cedar and a bit oily on the tongue. 2
Bill Hayes Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 The weather got a touch warmer down south so it was time for a cool glass or two of German wheat beer. 3

GWG Posted November 26, 2019 Posted November 26, 2019 Last of an old friend, discontinued this line and I miss it. 2016 lil opal from firestone walker so good. Trying to discern my final blind tasting choice, wish me luck. If you can get any of the new sours from this brewer you will not be dissapointed! 2
