My favorite was definitely the scotch version, took all of the overpowering harshness of liqourice from the base version and replaced it with chocolate fudge (while keeping a more subtle balanced liqourice twang). Rustyman Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 Went to a Pale Ale tasting at Dan Murphy's last night. The Young Henrys Summer Hop Ale was a good drop but it was out of stock. The Monteith's Summer Ale was a complete miss though. No nose, taste or flavour. Would rather drink water.
