assassin Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 Congratulations Nasa! What a technologically complicated mission I watched it live and was awestruck---well done!
OZCUBAN Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 Ditto ,what a feat ,landing a car sized Rover on Mars is a huge achievement ,given Mars reputation of being a difficult to put any thing on the surface in one piece OZ
coblos Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 Must be some NASA employees smoking some real nice celebratory cigars right now.
chr0nic Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 I had to listen to my boss for the most part of the day INSISTING that it was going to be an epic failure... when I asked him what made him so sure he kept saying "it's too complicated and convoluted". Then he mentioned he used to be a mechanic Sure, because servicing Holdens and assessing NASA-built space equipment is kinda the same thing... Anyhoo, watched it live as well. I have to admit I was nervous as all hell. SO SO AWESOME TO SEE IT LAND SAFELY!
