brazoseagle Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 Lisa gifted me some of her great coffee a couple of weeks ago, I was saving it for my vacation. Oh wow is it awesome!!!! I brought my magic bullet ( no not that magic bullet! Riaz, get your mind out of the gutter!), to grind up the beans. We had two different kinds, and my family can't get enough of it. My sister n law is a coffee nutbag, and she won't stop raving about it. It is very excellent and very good quality stuff. If you like coffee, I highly suggest you go to her website and place an order. Or trade her some cigars for some. Someone help me out with posting the proper website for the Beaver's Beans. ( that should be your website btw, www.beaversbeans.com.....just saying) The only Canadian websites I know of the top of my head are: Alextrebekmustacherides.com Alanthickepantyraids.com And Gretzkyonmyface.com 100/100
cottierm Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 I'll PM you the address in a second, Dave. Best, Michel
brazoseagle Posted July 26, 2012 Author Posted July 26, 2012 Here it is. You go there now! Buy her beans or Justin Bieber wins!! http://www.rocketfuelcoffee.com/
canadianbeaver Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 You are so kind and glad you love it! There will be rocketfuelcoffee in the silent auction at the Toronto herf, as there was at the Montreal herf too. As Steve said, I love to trade for cigars! Lisa
Guest Robo Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 Are these beans good for making espresso? That's all I drink. (Am I a coffee snob??)
Puros Y Vino Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 Are these beans good for making espresso? That's all I drink. (Am I a coffee snob??) No. Not a snob. That is how coffee was meant to be consumed. Not a huge fan of brewed but I did try some of Lisa's coffee at her place. And it was above and beyond any brewed coffee I've had.
canadianbeaver Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 You can use pretty much any been for espresso but we have a great coffee for this... Konakaze... Half Hawaiian Kona, half Espresso beans. Great for either brewed coffee or espresso!
canadianbeaver Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 Not sure of this thread os appropriate for FOH now... Colt, Rob... Feel free to lock or delete? BTW just got a request to bring some to the herf on Sat to trade, so I will.
Colt45 Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 Not sure of this thread os appropriate for FOH now... If I may, I'll attempt to articulate my thoughts - The initial presentation could be construed as shilling. But, I feel it's really a positive, well meaning attempt by one member to help another (well deserving) member. As moderators, we sometimes have to look at the bigger picture and precedents / protocol - members (especially newer) might see something like this and take the line that promotion is OK and without limits. Members who've been around long enough to know that we try to keep promotion by established members low key might be wondering. Either might say "why is X allowed when Z was not"? If I say nothing / do nothing, I'm an ass. If I say something / do something, I'm an ass. I guess if the chaps fit....... Perhaps I might have proposed it more like - "I've recently tried some of Lisa's coffee, and I think it's great and worth giving a try" or something along those lines - but that's nor here nor there. I hope this makes a little sense, and I appreciate you asking.

Don't even talk about those three websites. I was so embaraased after opening in front of my kids and all these pop up windows just wouldn't stop popping up.
ThatAlfonso Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 I'm still interested in some of Brazo's bourbon and some of these limited run, special wrap, no label sticks a few of you have. Can we just package all of this into one big gift basket to make it easy?
