Great tune

Many of us have a box or singles of a special cigar in our collection that we would love to smoke, but for reasons of rareity or sheer brilliance (and the fact that there are no more held by ourselves) we pass over time and time again.

Which one is yours?

Mine: Cohiba Siglo VI 03 original release. I have 6 left from a first batch box. Each of the previous 19 have been honey laden bliss. I can't bring myself to touching the remaining

Mine have to be the same, Cohiba Siglo VI 2011 i have 21 left and the 4 i smoked were what dreams are made of lol.So i cant bring myself to smoking them unless a real good mate (bro inlaw) shows up from nz.He has not been here yet and iv been here 11 years and still waiting.

I think of myself as a cigar headonist who smokes the best stuff first and suffers through the rest until my next trip back to Cuba to reload.

1) Partagas Culebras- I plan on smoking one 'stick' each with my best mates upon the birth of my child. Then...

2) Punch Diadema Extra- I mentioned in passing to Trevor that I wanted to find an Italian RE to smoke to celebrate my first child. He blew me away by gifting me this FANTASTIC looking stick that he described as 'pure cigar bliss'. The great thing is that, despite "saving it", I can see it's demise in the not-too-distant future

A cohiba lancero. It is a single with an old band (1993-2003). I was new to cc's when it was gifted to me so at the time I didn't even care to ask the box code. I know once I smoke it I will never be able to have another.

A box of Party SdC #3. I know i get it sent down from the locker, I'll smoke them all in very short order. Knowing that I'll never be able to get them again is the only reason that has stayed my hand.

Last remaining boxes of the older Partagas sdc#1s. They keep getting sweeter and sweeter. I just don't know when they will peak out! It's driving me crazy!? Bwahahahaha!

Maybe I should just smoke them all now instead of smoking them at the denouement?

An original Czar Imperial, not sure if I want to hang on to it because it is the last one in the world or because they were so terrible when I smoked them that I am scared of the taste.

I have a lot of boxes that I have resisted breaking. Why? Cause I have plenty of great cigars to smoke today. I only want to smoke the best cigars so I don't really hold out on anything when I really want to open a new box. Each cigar could be my last cigar. Why save the best ones for my wife to pass out at my funeral?

I too am saving some full orig. Siglo 6's. Not because they are precious to me, they don't hold a candle to a good Lanceros. Someday I will soak some collector who has more dollars than sense for a box and buy 10 boxes of really great cigars!!! Wow, I can't believe they coming up on 10 years now!

Funny... I save the cigars that I don't really think are all that good and smoke the good ones!

I have a Dominican Davidoff torpedo from the box I bought to celebrate my soon to be 14 year old son's

birth. I think I'll smoke that at his wedding. I too have but one lone original Siglo VI left in the humi, that'll burn next month on my 49th birthday!
