Shooter Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 Hello All, Some of you may know me from another board. I've been poking around here and it seems like a nice place to sit and share some good Habanos stories and experiences. Rob sent me some delicious Mag 46's the other month--and a smattering of others and they're wonderful smokes--all of 'em. I've been into cigars since '98 or so and discovered Habanos a couple of years later. That was it--I was hooked! After the "coolerdors" I splurged on a beautiful Aristocrat M-Plus and shamefully, it's about packed to the gils with a myriad of Habanos. I love having the option of different strengths, flavors and of course sizes. It's quite the addiction this collecting and enjoying the fruits too! Hard to pick a favorite marquee but there's no shortage of Partagas, Bolivars and Cohibas in the 'dor. Happy holidays and thanks in advance for allowing me "in!" -Bruce (Shooter)
DocRKS Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 Welcome to FOH Bruce..It is always a pleasure to share another Forum with you...I know you will be very pleased that you found your way over here....Look forward to chasing that little white ball over the Fairways and Greens of Virginia with you in the Spring. Happy Holidays to You and Yours.....
Tampa1257 Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 Welcome to FOH. Having a nice selection to choose from is always a good thing. Look forward to getting to know you better.
El Presidente Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 Welcome aboard Bruce I have always felt golf courses would make great dirtbike tracks ;-)
Freefallguy Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 Bienvenido Bruce! And if I may... I'd change the word "shamefully" in your post to "shameLESSLY"! No shame in packing the humidor with Habanos!
Loki Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 Welcome to FOH Bruce. Are the Aristocrats as good as they look?
Shooter Posted December 3, 2005 Author Posted December 3, 2005 » Welcome to FOH Bruce. Are the Aristocrats as good as they look? Loki--I wouldn't trade my Aristocrat for all the tea in China! I wanted it a bit custom and I love "tiger-stripe" wood so I had Bob make the two door panels with fiddleback maple inlays--stained red Mahogany like the rest of the door. It's gorgeous and keeps the collection very nice. Only wish is that I had gotten a bigger size!:-D Thanks for the warm "welcome's" gents.
Van55 Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005 Welcome from one Virginian to another. Where's Haymarket?
Lemon Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005 Welcome Bruce. I just recently joined myself. Nice place, I'm already liking it here :-D -John
wasch_24 Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005 » Welcome from one Virginian to another. Where's Haymarket? It's right up the road from me Van...off of I-66 around mile marker 42.
Ginseng Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 Welcome Bruce. I'm new here myself. But even having only been here a short time, I can say that if a civil, knowledgeable and fun loving place is what you want, you'll find that here. Wilkey
jay8354 Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 Welcome Shooter, hope you have as much as fun here as I do.
El Rushbo Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 Welcome Shooter (automatically makes me think of the Dennis Hopper character from "hoosiers" the basketball movie...).
