About ten minutes ago my father shows up with something he found in his basement (which is cool and not too dry) from what he says is from a trip to Cuba 15-20 years ago. He knew he had them "somewhere"...

I just about fell over. I opened one box. Not too dry and they were wrapped in their original paper.

These boxes are just gorgeous, in immaculate condition and smell divine. The seal matches the one on Trevor's site used up to 1999.

What we are talking about here are TWO boxes of Cohiba Lanceros, individually wrapped, pigtails and all, still in good shape.

Opinions please????

And yes Frank, Art and Michel, I will share.

Wow. Incredible surprise!!! If they are in good condition, you might want to get a appraisal, before you break the boxes.

does the c in BN25c mean cello?

Possibly? Because the photo shows cello, and mine are in cello. Interestingly, the foot is open.

Wow congrats on the burried treasure. Personally I would smoke them.

I have just let him know (with a follow-up thank you e-mail) that one box will probably get smoked over the coming years but the other box will go away forever.

That ought to cover me!

I DON'T ALWAYS BRING CIGARS

But when I do, they're vintage Cohibas

Awesome dad! Hope you'll write a review if you choose to smoke them.

Wow, congratulations! I've had dreams like that, but yours came true. Smoke them in good health. Whatever an appraisal might say they're worth on the market, they're priceless. What a prince your dad is.

That's fantastic what a cool dad.

The only thing my parents turn up with is old reports cards from primary school that they are still disappointed about. :teacher:
