Duty Free Stores - Availabiliy of the Duty Free & Travel Retail Releases

The recent duty free thread....noting the general unavailability of RE & LE products....lead me ask this question.

I don't travel much, but I have never seen any of the Duty Free & Travel Retail releases in an airport Dury Free store.

Has anyone?

It's a valid question!

London Heathrow, for example, had a piss-poor selection of cigars in General when I was last there in January. No special releases.

I do recall seeing the travel retail selection pack in Sepang Airport, Malaysia.

I bought my P1 Jars from London Heathrow and Bahrain Airport when they 1st came out

I've seen this releases in LCdH not in DF

At Dubai Airport LCDH you can occasionally find this releases (I remember H. Upmann Travel Humidor with Robustos).

But you are right – they are not widely available in Duty Free Shops. Their managers usually know what people are buying and they are ordering same items over and over (+ EL).

Gatwick is as bad as Heathrow by the Sound of things...

The same goes for Pudong ariport Shanghai. Was there in March and no sign of any Duty Free Retail.

The Vegas Robaina Petit Robusto, originally proposed as a 2010 Edición Regional Francia, is actually available in certain french airport Duty Free stores (spotted in Paris and Nice).

Frankfurt Duty Free has incredible cigars and booze.

And New Deli DF has those unbelievable Punch Platino 25's at $750 a box for 10. This is the only place you can get them.

I've only seen ER's in Beijing, Shanghai, Dubai & Abu Dhabi airports.

No ER's ( or EL's for that matter ) at Frankfurt.

750 $ for a box of 10 India ER's (??) .... wow, that's robbery
